Agile in a .NET Environment with Dwayne Read
Join us at the Perth .NET Community of Practice, August 7th to hear Dwayne Read compare two of the more dominant agile methodologies, XP and FDD, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of both. Examples of the application of these techniques at Snowden Technologies in a .NET/TFS environment will be discussed. This presentation is aimed at highlighting the importance of shaping the process to fit the type of applications a company develops, the people/communication side of development and the technologies they utilise.

Dwayne Read is an Agile and OO specialist with over 18 years in the software industry. He has been a key player in numerous successful projects ranging from 3 month commercial product developments through to 4 year highly complex R&D and defence applications. Dwayne draws on his practical experiences to provide focused training workshops as well as on-site mentoring and facilitation in such techniques as iterative development, JAD sessions, use case modelling, software architecture, design patterns, test-driven development, automated testing, code inspection, etc.
